WHERE, OH WHERE, IS FLAT WESLEY?

AND JUST WHO IS FLAT WESLEY?

To help us share and document what God is doing through us, we are going to take John Wesley with us! You may have heard about a phenomenon called the "Flat Stanley Project". Students take a cut-out doll of Stanley with them on some experience and take a picture with him. They send their Stanley on a journey to children in other parts of the world. We are going to provide you with a Flat Wesley. We want to challenge you to do two things - one inside your comfort zone and one outside your comfort zone - to join with God in what he is doing to redeem and restore a fallen world. Project Opportunities are listed in a link below. As you do these two things, take Flat Wesley with you have someone take your picture. You can email it to us or post it on the church Facebook page. We also want you to record on the back of Flat Wesley what two things you did. Return your Flat Wesley during worship on Sunday, May 20. You will need to print, cut out and decorate or color a copy of Flat Wesley. (see link below) Make it a family event. Then discuss what two things you could  do to make a difference for the Kingdom of God! (For more information, go to the Sermon on April 22, 2012 entitled Bold Living: Watching or Engaged?)
