EXERCISING WOMEN
Women's Workout
Monday-Wednesday-Thursday-Friday, 8:30-9:30 am, Room 43
Ladies of all ages are invited to join us for a video-led class featuring yoga, salsa, a bit of kick boxing and zumba.

Single Women’s Exercise Class
Monday & Thursday, 6:00-7:00 pm, Room 43
This class is for every age and shape! Join us as we workout to walking and firming tapes on Mondays and Thursdays.
Our class is a great way to firm up our bodies and firm up our relationships with God and one another! Team Leader: Cindi Heald, 794-4015, ext. 556.
BOOKS 'N BAGS - Off and on throughout the year, we offer a women’s only Christian Book Club featuring such titles as The Ultimate Gift, The Last Sin Eater, One Night with the King, Captivating, The Penny,and The Shack. Books & Bags meets periodically on a Wednesday at noon. Watch the bulletin and newsletter for our next read.
Join us for fun, food, laughter and encouragement at a local restaurant. Cost is the price of your meal. Free childcare is available at the church nursery. PRAYING WOMEN
Elementary and Junior High Moms — a group of moms who gather on different mornings to pray for their children and their school staff. You don’t have to be a “prayer expert,” just come with a love for your child, love for the Lord and your Bible. Contact the church office to see if your school has a group meeting at LakeRidge or contact Nancy
Cook at 798-1976 if you would like to start a group.
College Moms — Just because our children are in college our jobs as “moms” are not over. We now have the prestigious role of Prayer Warrior for our young adults. If we commit to prayer for our children, their professors, the university, our nation and world, we will see the supernatural power of God equip, transform and move mightily in our children’s lives! Bringyour Bible and a friend to pray together on behalf of our kids! We meet during the school semesters on the second and fourth Mondays at either noon or 7:00 pm in the Westside Prayer Room, January 9-May 14, 2012.
PRAISING WOMEN
Women of Worship (WOW) “An Evening of Praise!”
It’s ladies’ night out and oh how we have fun encountering our Lord Jesus Christ with sisters from throughout our
church and community. Come and meet with us and be delighted by our Savior as He works through testimonies,
praise music, laughter and tears to bring blessings and healing to our soul. Our next praise event is March 6th,
7:00 pm in the Chapel.
UNITED METHODIST WOMEN (UMW)
Second Monday of each month, 6:30 pm, Room 102
LakeRidge United Methodist Women come together once a month to plan how they will serve our community. These gatherings consist of fellowship, refreshments, devotions, and event/mission/planning/business meetings. Our purpose
is to serve others through various ministries: collection and distribution of Homeless Hygiene Bags, UMW Thanksgiving Bake Sale, UMW Foster Children’s Breakfast. Come, have fun and share your ideas. Contact Pat Arnold, 794-6795.
WINGS — Women In Need of God’s Strength - This half-day retreat helps women learn to refocus and re-energize their spiritual life following a life-changing transition (death, separation, divorce, empty nest, financial struggles, etc.) in a safe environment where women find hope and healing, and God’s purpose for their lives. Speakers, worship and break-out sessions await you. Keep a look out for the next retreat!
WOMEN OF DESTINY - Care team members are women who have found freedomand victory in Christ.
They have received training in women’s issues, prayer and personal ministry. They provide a warm heart and listening
