Relationship —
Simply talking to God. Like any good friend, sometimes we talk, sometimes we listen. . . and sometimes we just enjoy His company!
Power —
Power to live, power to change. Prayer brings the actions and purposes of heaven to earth.
“And pray in the Spirit in all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on
praying for all the saints.” Ephesians 6:18
Healing Room (Thursdays, 7:00-8:30 pm)
The Healing Room is for anyone who is seeking to connect with God for physical, emotional or spiritual healing. Jesus came to restore wholeness to every area of our lives. His touch through the prayers of others is powerful bringing comfort, hope and renewed life. Upon arriving at Wesley Chapel doors in the North/South Corridor, you will be greeted by a Prayer Room Host who will have you sign in. You will then be led into the Wesley Chapel where someone will silently pray over you as you soak in an atmosphere of worship. It is a wonderful experience! After receiving soaking prayer you will be directed into the healing room for prayer. The healing room is staffed with teams of healing ministers who will offer you Communion, anoint you with oil and pray for your needs. No pre-registration is required for the Healing Room. Contact Lori McCunniff by email or call 794-4015 with questions. Open Thursdays (except holidays), come and go anytime between 7:00 and 8:30 pm.
Prayer Rooms
LakeRidge UMC has two Prayer Rooms — the main prayer room is located in the Main Building near the Sanctuary; the 24/7 prayer room is located in a separate building next to the Wesley Chapel. Both prayer rooms provide a quiet, relaxing place for you to spend time in communion with God. The main prayer room is open Monday-Friday and Sunday, 8:00 am to 9:00 pm. The Wesley Chapel prayer room is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week with a special access code.
