It is the desire of the Music Ministry to meet people where they are and instill a desire to offer the Lord their very best through the medium of music. Sanctuary Choir- This group of individuals is at the heart of our music ministry. They faithfully lead the congregation in worship at both the 9:15 and 10:30 hours, during the months of September through June.

Their voices aid the congregation in learning new praise and worship music as  well as inspiring the listeners with

special selections consisting of a broad range of musical styles. In addition, this talented group enhance the

Christmas and Lenten seasons. No audition is necessary, but a willing spirit and a passion for singing is expected! Rehearsals are held each Wednesday evening from 7:00-9:00 in the Music Room located on the north end of the

Praise and Worship - LRUMC is always on the lookout for acoustical guitarists, bass guitarists, keyboardists, drum kit players, and Latin percussionists.

Choir Connection - For those who possess a desire to sing, but find themselves in a time-crunch scheduled

and unable to attend rehearsals on Wednesday evenings, the LRUMC Music Ministry offers “The  Choir Connection.” Meeting for only ONE hour (7:00 pm in the Music Room), TWO Thursdays  per month, this rehearsal is chock full of focused practice time allowing the singer to remain involved and equipped to join us in choir on Sunday mornings.

Exaltation Ringers - Ringing levels 3, 4 and 5, The Exaltation Ringers are an advanced, audition-only handbell choir. If you are an experienced ringer and would like to be a part of this group, please contact Larry Walker for an audition time. Rehearsals are held on Monday evenings from 7:30-8:30 in the Music Room. Childcare is provided.

Instruments of Praise - A diverse group of musicians who worship the Lord through instrumental music,

the Instruments of Praise participates year round in both sanctuary worship services by accompanying congregational singing, choral anthems, and occasionally soloists and ensembles. This highly talented group rehearses on Monday evenings from 6:30-8:30 in the Sanctuary. Media Ministry - The media production team seeks to creatively and effectively enhance the worship service through quality technical support. We offer opportunities in the following areas: Audio, Video and Tape Duplication.
