Local Ministry Teams

Good Samaritan Ministry — Three areas of ministry serving those in need: The Food Voucher  Program and Clothes Closet are available on Wednesday mornings in the Family Ministry Center.   The Matthew 25:40 Fund assists with rent and utilities on a limited basis.

Heart Pillows — Heart-shaped pillows are sewn for heart surgery patients.

Mission 20/20 — Provides eye exams and reading glasses to the needy.

Nursing Home Baking — Furnishes food for a monthly birthday party.

Saturday Burrito Ministry — Burritos and Christian relationship building for Lubbock’s homeless.

Mission Partnerships

Active Community Service Teams (local)

Backyard Mission — Local home repair helping to keep elderly more comfortable.

Family Promise — Assists homeless families with children with overnight hosting, meals, and Christian love on a 

rotating basis with other Lubbock churches.

Habitat for Humanity— Partners with families in need to build a home.

HOPE Community of Shalom — Outreach to central Lubbock neighborhood and Dupre Elementary School.

The ROK— After school outreach program for children in need.

Prison Ministries — Kairos, Kairos Outside, Exodus Prison Ministries and Simple Acts provide ministry to incarcerated, recently released prisoners and their families desiring a relationship with the Lord.

National Missions Ministries (USA)

Four Corners Native American Ministries — Ministry to Native Americans in the Four Corners 

area through on-site construction projects.

International Missionaries

CAM International — Guatemala — Brandon & Jenny Scott support Guatemalan ministers 

and help plant churches.

Mercy House of Prayer — Austria — Brandi Cantrell and her team minister to urban 

disenfranchised and unchurched in Austria.

New Life Children's Home — Guatemala — Kendon & Wendy Wheeler head a Christian home and 

school for Guatemalan children.

Safina Street Ministries — Tanzania — Provides medical care, meals and love to street kids and orphans in Tanzania.
