Location 

LakeRidge United Methodist Church (point A) is located at 4701 82nd Street, between Quaker Avenue and Slide Road

on 82nd St. The newly-added chapel is also at this location.

The LakeRidge Methodist Family Ministry Center (point B) is located at 4601 83rd Street, just southeast of the main building.  

What to Expect 

Please join us every Sunday for worship in the main sanctuary, chapel and also at our LakeRidge Praise (FMC-4601 83rd) location. Don'’t forget to check out our Sunday school classes.   

Sanctuary Worship Service

A spirited blend of traditional hymns and contemporary music. Includes choir anthem, children's participation, affirmation of faith and live message. Sundays, 9:15 am to 10:15 am OR 10:30 am to 11:30 am. 

Wesley Chapel Traditional Worship Service

This venue features traditional hymns and music, affirmation of faith, doxology and special music. Sundays, 9:15 am to 

10:15 am OR 10:30 am to 11:30 am. 

LakeRidge Praise Service

Here you will find upbeat, energetic music, as well as softer, meditative worship songs. Identical message as in the Sanctuary via large-screen video. Sundays, 10:30 to 11:30 am. 

Sunday School Sundays for all ages, 9:15 am to 10:15 am OR 10:30 to 11:30 am. LakeRidge UMC has an average weekly worship attendance of approximately 1,100. 

Hospitality - We make every effort to welcome each visitor to LakeRidge personally. Upon visiting LakeRidge UMC, you will find greeters at each entrance, and Welcome Centers at each end of the Sanctuary foyer and in the east atrium. An usher is stationed at each door to the Sanctuary. There is also a staff member in the foyer area until approximately 10 minutes following the start of each worship service. Any of these people can be easily identified, as they will be wearing a badge or name tag. They are all available to answer any questions you may have, or to lead you in the right direction. Please do not hesitate to ask them questions... they are there to help you! 

Parking Information - In addition to the parking available around the main building, there are additional spaces at

the Family Ministry Center, directly south and east of the main building. The main congestion time is between worship services, at approximately 10:15 a.m. Golf carts are available to transport you from the FMC parking lots to the

entrance of the main Sanctuary.

Nursery - The nursery is located in the southeast corner of the building. The nursery is available at no charge for

children age birth through 2 years old. Three year olds and up may attend Sunday School at either 9:15 am or 10:30 am. The safety of your infants and children are of utmost important to LakeRidge UMC. We have implemented a new electronic check in/out system that will insure your child is picked up by the appropriate person. This check in/out

system will be utilized at ALLnursery/children’s activities, Children’s Day Out and Preschool/Kindergarten.

CHECK IN - When you arrive at the church, please come to the Children’s Welcome Center located in the North/

South Corridor. Check in at one of the computers. The printer will print a name tag with a number for your child and

a tag with the same number for you. After you receive your child’s tag you may take your child to his or her nursery room or classroom.

CHECK OUT - Children are released to parents and guardians only. You may pick up your child in his or her nursery room or classroom. You must present the numbered ticket and sign the roll sheet at the door before your child can be released.

In the event your child needs you, the number will flash on the electronic signs located above the exit

signs in the front of the sanctuary.

Golf Carts - For parking to door transportation.

Nursery and Children’s Worship Bulletins - Nursery is available for children up to 3 years old  in the Nursery Area of the main building. Also, children’s worship bulletins are available from the ushers. If you need help, please see an usher or greeter for assistance.

Hearing Assistance Devices - Hearing assistance devices are available for use in the main sanctuary during Sunday services. These devices allow the moderately hearing impaired to hear the service using earphones and transmitter with volume control. We have a limited number available. If you would like this assistance, please see an usher.

HOLY GROUNDS Coffee area - Open 9:00 am to 11:30 each Sunday

The Holy Grounds Coffee Area is located in the North/South Corridor. This is a great place to fellowship over a cup of coffee and donut. Donations for this Hospitality Ministry are encouraged.

Sermon Available on CD or DVD - Place your order for sermon duplication at the Media Ministry Center in the foyer

or by calling the church at 794-4015. There is a suggested donation of $2 for audio CDs, $5 for video DVD.
