The LakeRidge church family supports many different missions locally and across the globe. Here is some information about our partnerships in the gospel.

  A home repair ministry that helps people stay warm and dry.

• Shoe Box
  Collects personal care items for special groups.

• Clothes Closet
  Collects and distributes clothing.

• Good Samaritan
  Provides assistance to those in need.

• Heart to Heart
  Making heart shaped pillows for heart surgery patients.

• Mission 20/20
  Provides eye exams and glasses for needy children and adults in foreign countries.

• Quillos
  Sews blankets for needy children.

• Christian Women's Job Corps
  Offers education, job skills and mentoring to women in need.

• Family Promise click here
  Hosts homeless families with children. Family Promise provides support, training, and encouragement as parents seek steady employment and learn budgeting skills to help them return to renting or purchasing a home.

• Hope Community of Shalom
  Supports local outreach through after school reading programs, creative ministries, clothes and food distribution.

• Meals on Wheels
  Assists seniors and some disabled individuals at all income levels, who are unable to prepare meals for themselves.

• R.O.K - Reaching Our Kids
  An after school program in east Lubbock on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

• South Plains Food Bank
  Provides food for the South Plains area as well as other food banks in the United States.

• Texas Tech University Wesley Foundation
  Support of students serving on individual mission teams.

• Four Corners Native American Ministries
  This UMC ministry is an outreach program geared toward the Navajo Native Americans who live on the Navajo reservation, and is headquartered in Shiprock, New Mexico.

• Habitat for Humanity
  Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian organization dedicated to eliminating substandard housing and homelessness worldwide. LakeRidge is going to an "every other year" schedule with our Habitat House due to rising costs and our desire to offer some other mission options. We will be taking this year off and building again in 2009.

• Kairos Prison Ministry
  The purpose of Kairos is the building of strong Christian communities within the environment of correctional institutions.

• Kendon and Wendy Wheeler - New Life Children's Home - Guatemala click here
  Provides ministry and home care to orphaned children.

• Brandon and Jenny Scott - Reciprocal Ministries, Intl. - Guatemala click here
  Ministry to the Mayan people.

• Duke and Karla Underwood - REACH Up USA click here
  A ministry of contagious evangelism and care to churches, especially youth and children.

• Brandi Cantrell - Mercy House of Prayer - Vienna, Austria click here
  Missionary team member of Mercy House of Prayer which seeks to connect local churches and Christian mission agencies through prayer and prayer leadership.
